He has advised many blue chip companies including Asda, Axa, British Airways, BP, Britvic, Corus, EMI, Fujitsu, IBM, GSK, Mitsui, National Grid, Nichols, Reuters, Royal London, SAB Miller, Technicolor, Tesco, World Duty Free.David was Master of The Worshipful Company of Marketors in 2016-7. In 2018 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters by the University of Hertfordshire for Services to Marketing.
